Aman's scents

Aman announces Aman Fine Fragrance, five eau de parfums echoing the distinct character of the brand’s destinations

How many times have you happened to remember a magnificent journey through its scents? Aman, the brand with a collection of intimate retreats across 20 countries, announces Aman Fine Fragrance, each echoing the distinct character of the brand’s destinations. The inaugural collection launches with five 50 ml eau de parfums, gender-neutral scents, created by master perfumer Jacques Chabert.

«The Spirit of Aman is an emotion that can be felt at each of our hotels and resorts», comments Vladislav Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman. «The otherworldly locations, the unique experiences and the connection with the landscape play a role in this feeling that is difficult put into words. In launching Aman Fine Fragrance, I feel that we have answered the call of our most devoted guests who have personally expressed their desire for such a range, and I hope that in turn we can evoke contented memories of time well spent in our destinations».

Aman Fine Fragrance, ZUAC

The five fragrances are: Vayu, inspired by Amanpuri, Thailand, that reminds the freshness of summer with top note of bergamot, lemongrass and coconut; Ayom inspired by Amanjiwo, Indonesia, deep and complex with ginger, juniper and jasmine; Umbr inspired by Aman Venice and the Venetian opulence with rose, orange blossom and sandalwood; Zuac inspired by Amanjena, Morocco, a fragrance that reminds the colours of the Red City and its ancient Medina; and Alta, inspired by Aman New York (opening spring 2021), that meaning “high”, like the rich architectural history of New York and the imposing cityscape, with top note of juniper berries, saffron, cardamom and caraway.

Each bottle visually reflects its associated Aman destination through the use of colour, its own specially selected tone is inspired by the resort’s local environment, surrounding nature and culturally significant hues, and it complements the Aman Skincare family of bottles and jars designed by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma.

The Aman Fine Fragrance collection is available online via the Aman Shop and in the resort boutiques.
