Talenti: technology rhymes with magic

Eclectic and multimaterial: Argo, the new Talenti collection designed by PS+A Palomba Serafini Associati, raises the flag of innovation for very high outdoor performance

Greek mythology narrates that the Argo, the ship for which the new Talenti outdoor collection is named, took Jason and the Argonauts in search of the Golden Fleece, and contained a magical piece of wood. Even today, the wood in the collection designed by PS+A Palomba Serafini Associati, like all the other materials, is highly innovative and stands up to weathering.

Accoya wood, in fact, is the leitmotif of the entire line, including sofas, tables, armchairs, ottomans and cots, modified with the most advanced technology (acetylation) to give the material exceptional physical and mechanical characteristics and durability. Taken from sustainable forests and processed with non-toxic techniques, Accoya wood is an essential ingredient of the dining and coffee tables, available in various sizes, and in the three-seat sofa with lateral bands that embrace the ample seat. A modular upholstered piece that offers personalization based on multiple compositional solutions.

This wood variety is not the only special feature of a collection that combines different materials and refined styling, for a remarkable aesthetic impact. The synthetic cords woven on the back of the Love Seat are combined with quick dry foam cushioning and runners that make the unit seem to float in the air. This motif also repeats in the armchairs and other seating elements.

The elegance of Argo’s sober lines and geometric proportions are the result of the encounter between the creative flair of Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, capable of conveying a contemporary spirit through in-depth knowledge of design roots, and the ability of Talenti to mix research, experimentation and craftsmanship Made in Italy.
