Ernestomeda opens in Seoul

The new flagship store, located in the center of the South Korean capital, will present the brand’s kitchens in a space of 200 square meters

Made in Italy restarts, with new openings, including many taking place abroad. Recent news arrives from Ernestomeda: the company specialized in kitchens, based in Montelabbate, province of Pesaro and Urbino, lands in South Korea with a flagship store of 200 square meters in the center of the capital city. A monobrand facility in Gangnam, one of the wealthiest and most important districts, becomes a showcase for the brand’s principal collections, as well as a gathering place with a large work zone, equipped with a meeting room and a materials library of about 35 square meters.

Visitors are welcomed by the K-Lab kitchen, which alternates full and open volumes, inspired by the linear arrangement of counters in a gastronomic workshop. In Seoul the model is shown in the Zero Gloss Grigio Paloma and Nordic Oak version, with counters in Sky Grey marble and Dual in steel, framed by columns in Zero Gloss Moka lacquer. The main showcase of the store contains Soul+, in the peninsula version with Flat Matt Limo lacquer finish and tops in Sahara Brown marble. The itinerary continues with Icon, the model that ushers in the collaboration with the designer Giuseppe Bavuso, now the art director of the company, and then with Obliqua, featuring innovative materials like Fenix, a print-proof, strong surface, permitting repair of micro-scratches with heat. Finally, the displays conclude with the One model, with bases and columns in Fenix Grigio Londra, All-in-One hanging cabinets in Fenix Nero Ingo, and a snack bar in heat-treated Oak.
