Snaidero reopens with a flourish

The Friuli-based company celebrates the restart by lighting up the headquarters in Majano in the colors of the Italian flag

The futuristic Snaidero HQ at Majano, in the province of Udine, designed by the architect Angelo Mangiarotti in the 1970s, lights up with the colors of the flag. On the evening of Sunday 3 May, the company specialized in kitchens enthusiastically broadcast the reopening of production, sending a message of solidarity and hope to the territory and all its employees.

“This symbolic gesture reflects our desire to thank not only all the healthcare workers and law enforcement staff on the front lines in the battle against Covid-19, but also all our employees and clients who are living through this difficult time,” says the CEO Massimo Manelli. “With the flag projected on the facade of our production facility, we want to underline our sense of belonging to our country and to express our closeness to all those who have felt the impact of this emergency. We would also like to thank all the employees at the production site, who have continued to believe in our company and to guarantee the continuity of production and completion of orders.”

An action to thank employees, collaborators and those who have contributed to this initiative, such as Ranieri Furlan Fotografo, Romano Urbani of Creavidea and Gerry Paredes of GP Eventi: “Snaidero is made of many people, each with his or her own history, shared with the group. People have made, and continue to make, the difference,” says sales director Roberto Lizzi. “Thanks to their work they have allowed the Snaidero brand to become a recognized, established reality in the world. In this particular moment, we are called upon to approach a complex, unprecedented situation, which offers no certainties regarding the future. But we are not afraid; we are ready to do what must be done, because the people who work with us are special, as they all demonstrate, day after day, with their passion, commitment and dedication.”
