Molteni&C|Dada: views of Barcelona

The brand opens the doors of its new flagship store in the renowned Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district. The 400sqm space hosts iconic products and new collections

Molteni&C|Dada opens the doors to its new Flagship Store in Barcelona, taking a significant step towards qualifying its distribution network in the European strategic market.
A vibrant and dynamic city where tradition and modernity combine harmoniously.
The space – measuring over 400 square meters with two wide windows – is located in the residential neighbourhood in the inland of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district, an area much loved by the great brands of decoration and furniture, providing guests the opportunity to experience a sequence of evocative settings.

When entering the space, visitors will be immersed into a wide and warm living space.
The dynamic Gregor seating system with Hubert small tables and Gillis armchair, together with a modern and elegant VVD Kitchen are effectively showcased.
With the aim of bringing to mind a warm home environment, the new Flagship develops over two levels linked by two staircases. Distinctive, sophisticated materials, the natural colours of the travertine marble alternated with various shades of dark greys give a strong character to each individual space.
The upper floor opens into a large kitchen area featuring a modern Prime kitchen together with the Diamond table. A living-room space showcasing a sequence of Paul sofa and Chelsea armchairs immediately follows. Completing the area is a monumental Armani/Dada Checkers kitchen.

The lower floor is accessed by the downward staircase. Visitors will find themselves guided by elegant spatial, material and stylistic sensations. This high-impact scenic nhances the products of the new collections designed by Vincent van Duysen, Rodolfo Dordoni, Ron Gilad, Patricia Urquiola and Nicola Galliza, amongst others.
The Albert seating system and the wall-system Pass-Word Evolution, the Gatwick table and the Iriving single unit are effectively showcased in each setting, making the space gracious, welcoming, dimensional, fluid.

A sophisticated night area immediately follows, displaying the Surf sofa, the Anton bed together with the elegant Sistema 7, the new type of door featuring an ingenious opening mechanism.

The Flagship dedicates a wide space also to the iconic pieces designed by Gio Ponti, such as the D.156.3 armchair, as well as the small table D.555.1 and the D.859.1 table, part of the Molteni&C Heritage Collection. The result is a single hub of Italian design excellence.
