In the mood for Bixio

A live performance and an exhibition by the artist Bixio Braghieri in the spaces of the Natevo by Flou showroom in Milan, blurring the boundary between art and design. A dialogue between two universes that have plenty to discuss

An invitation to enter an unconventional world, shared by Natevo by Flou and the artist Fabrizio ‘Bixio’ Braghieri, who inside the showroom of the brand on Via De Amicis in Milan has installed the solo show ‘Moods of Bixio – the rooms of the artist.’ The dimension is nocturnal, as preferred by a company that has applied it to pieces that have entered design history, offering an ideal setting for the artistic expression of Bixio Braghieri, a versatile, unusual personality working in painting and sculpture.

An extravagant opening live performance – the artist welcomed guests and interacted with them, stretched out on a bed personalized by his creative flair – was the signal to explore the physical and mental ‘rooms’ created by means of thematic installations. The night of love, the sleepless night, the magic night, the night of madness… these are the spaces Bixio invites us to discover, along with his ‘Fragile Hearts,’ his ‘Fashion Tank,’ the ‘Cuore di Vespa,’ the hoods of cars with love messages written with screwdrivers, transforming tools into works of art in keeping with the ‘ready-made’ tradition of Duchamp.
