“It is an incredibly exciting time for design in the capital”, says Lee Newton, CEO at Media 10, the company who organizes and owns the event. “Changing the name aligns the show with the other international design fairs. The rebrand also furthers the potential to open other design fairs internationally”. Big news for the public of the next Ldf 2020: “We have very high expectations for this year’s show, we are moving at the heart of London’s first purpose built Design District. The event will showcase a highly curated selection of brands, each of which produces ground-breaking and original products”.

Design London will take place in Magazine London, in Greenwich Design District: “The move will offer visitors unrivalled transport links during London Design Festival with direct access via cable car, boat, plane, bus, car and tube. It’s also a really exciting time to be moving to Greenwich, as the Peninsula is welcoming London’s first purpose-built Design District which will bring 1,800 creatives together. A mixture of architectural voices, open house workshops and design lovers will create an undeniable buzz of activity. The key to the Design District’s success will lie in its ability to unite creative talent and inspire collaboration in order to drive the city forward”.
