In 2009 Foscarini signed a cooperation agreement with Diesel in the context of the “Home Collection” furniture and lifestyle project. Over 40 lamp models were created, allowing both companies to establish a dialogue with a new audience for them, and to explore different ways of living and furnishing the home.

The strong point of the Diesel with Foscarini collection was its way of creating a mixture of different languages and styles: from rock to pop, industrial to vintage, graphics to art. All thanks to a natural inclination to alter forms, materials and functions.

Many of the creations met with success, starting with White Noise with its large cupola in black aluminium hand-sprayed with dense white paint, suggesting the image of a galaxy. At the latest Salone del Mobile.Milano, the Fork Light floor lamp stood out for its very agile structure, composed of a jointed stem in metal with a round base and swiveling shade with a cylindrical form. Pipe Mesh, on the other hand, takes its name from the industrial tubing that suggested the design: it is covered with fabric with a particular open weave that becomes a luminous decoration.
