For the trade fair in Bologna in October, the Itlas – founded and guided by Patrizio Dei Tos – presented new developments linked to Progetto Bagno, the furnishings collection with an elegant character based on the use of wood and other authentic materials like bronze-plated metal and marble.
Isola, Linea collection, Itlas
The new series launched for Progetto Bagno is Isola, part of the Linea collection – already in the catalogue – which features essential style of great visual impact. A range of independent pieces for the bathroom, in an offering that can be modified over time and above all personalized thanks to the possibility of combining wood, the protagonist of the Isola look, with other materials like glass, a new development this year, used alongside bronze-finish aluminium. Cabinets with sliding baskets that support countertop washbasins in dark ceramic or bronze-clad glass; suspended display cases and panels with adjustable shelves and containers in glass and aluminium, for a line of light furnishings, compact volumes and original stylistic solutions.

Among the items on view at the Itlas booth at Cersaie, the Assi del Cansiglio project stood out, created in September 2009 and involving the supply of wood from the forest of Cansiglio, as a fine material for the creation of floors. A unique project, not only in commercial terms, because it is also ecological and sustainable, underlining the value of the beech wood from the age-old ‘bosco da reme’ of the Republic of Venice. Last year the company also acquired all the beech trees of the forest of Cansiglio that had been felled by the Vaia storm on 29 October 2018, contributing to raise awareness regarding the need to restore and protect this invaluable woodland heritage.

The third new proposal of Itlas at Cersaie: Le Trame di Itlas, in oak, designed by Archea Associati are new compositions of slats, available in two basic modules that can be combined to create twelve different patterns.
