A true earthly paradise, a marvelous new villa in the midst of nature in Ispica. The project is by the architect Michele Perlini, who has relied on important design companies for the making of both interiors and outdoor zones. One of them is Florim, a company specializing in large slabs of porcelain stoneware, utilized for floors and pavements.

The villa is immersed in an area of 10 hectares of greenery, amidst orange groves and age-old olive and carob trees. The oblong volume has an intentionally simple design, built with certified materials for low environmental impact. The construction extends for 250 square meters on a single level, composed of a central body that contains the kitchen and living areas, flanked by two lateral blocks for the master bedroom zone and two independent bedrooms with private bathrooms and closets. Outside, the villa has a long infinity pool and an annex.

The large slabs by Florim are the Stontech 4.0 and Stone 02 natural-matte models. The first collection is available in six different marble and stone motifs, conceived to meet the most modern requirements of fine architecture with minimal, rational decorative effects. Two types of marble in high-gloss finishes bring precious fragments of light, and the large formats of the Magnum Oversize family, in four colors, permit the creation of unusual volumetric solutions.

The second collection is ideal for vintage settings, with an accent on elegance, modernity and essential design. The porcelain stoneware offers outstanding technical performance and guarantees exceptional durability.

The project stands out for its focus on the surrounding environment, through a series of ecosustainable measures, starting with analysis of the exteriors and structural orientation, to optimize the relationship with sunlight.“The analysis of microclimate conditions and optimal orientation, along with the form of the construction and the choice of natural materials, have gone together with the use of simple and reliable systems, of low environmental impact,” says the architect based in Verona.

The interiors of the villa feature iconic design objects that contribute to the overall style, such as the Up chair by B&B Italia and the Plastic Chairs by Vitra. The spaces also have coverings made with Rubelli fabrics.
