Coming soon: Superstudio Maxi

The third location created by Superstudio Group will open in 2020. A space for art, culture and design on Via Moncucco

After the first 40 years of Superstudio 13 and 20 years of Superstudio Più, here comes Superstudio Maxi. This is the third space created by Superstudio Group, the family business founded in 1980 by Flavio Lucchini and Gisella Borioli, journalists and creative professionals operating in the sectors of art and design. The project also includes the young grandson Tommaso Stecchi Borioli, previously CEO of Superstudio Events.

Superstudio Maxi

Superstudio Maxi will officially open in April 2020 during Design Week, at Via Moncucco in Milan. With an area of 7200 square meters (and a height of eight) it will offer a new space for art, crafts, design, fashion and lifestyle, innovation and culture. The space is located inside a partially abandoned industrial building, with a large courtyard of 2800 m2, a capacity of 3400 persons and an internal parking area for 70 cars. The heart of the space will be the Vision Room, 200 m2, a perfect place for workshops and encounters. In short, another step in the process of adding value to the outskirts of the city through regeneration.

Superstudio Maxi will be an innovative, open and inclusive location. It will present initiatives like the Passion Days, recurring appointments that intercept people’s desires, with a particular focus on the themes of the various ‘weeks’ organized by the municipal government, as well as other topics. Superstudio Group delves into the passions of the contemporary life of the city, with days on contemporary art, photography, women, cooking, medicine and personal technology.
