Pioneer Landscape

For the sixth consecutive year Pedrali renews its partnership with the event in Bergamo titled “Landscape Festival - I Maestri del Paesaggio,” furnishing various sites around the city with its outdoor collections

By now it’s a tradition. Pedrali, the company specialized in the production of design furnishings, takes part for the sixth time in the Landscape Festival – I Maestri del Paesaggio. The happening with a focus on nature, beauty, landscape and design, from 5 to 22 September, brings the best landscape designers and the most interesting developments in international landscaping to Bergamo.

The main location is the marvelous Piazza Vecchia, hosting an installation by the Italian-English landscape designer Luciano Giubbilei, inspired by the theme of the 2019 edition, Pioneer Landscape. This outdoor salon becomes a space suspended between city and nature, relying on the beauty of spontaneous vegetation. For the occasion the piazza will be furnished with outdoor products by Pedrali, created by CMP Design: the Tribeca chairs and the Nolita tables.

There are various points of interest scattered throughout the Città Alta, like the old washing trough where visitors can see the project Green Lounge – Pedrali all’Antico Lavatoio by Lucia Nusiner, transformed into a convivial garden, where furniture and plants blend harmoniously with the surroundings, creating unexpected settings. Here, besides the Tribeca seats, visitors can relax on the Reva divan by Patrick Jouin or enjoy the magical atmosphere of the light from the Giravolta and Happy Apple lamps by Basaglia Rota Nodari Architetti Associati.

The Sala delle Capriate at Palazzo della Ragione features Héra, the armchair designed by Patrick Jouin and presented at the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2019, and Soul, the seat designed by Eugeni Quitllet.
The Elliot and Ikon tables, the Tribeca settees and the Ara chairs are inserted in the Landscape Corners, inspired by the Green Square of Piazza Vecchia and located at Piazza Pontida, Hotel Cappello d’Oro, Piazza Rossa and Piazza Sant’anna in the Borgo Palazzo district.

But that’s not all. Pedrali will also support CIAM, the International Congress of Modern Architecture, now at its 70th anniversary, creating a Second Life Grid to indicate the transformations generated by architects and urbanists following changes in urban, social, economic and political conditions.
