It’s important to stay in step with the times. Caccaro, a company founded in 1958 at Villa del Conte (PD) by Salvino Caccaro is doing it, revolutionizing its way of working over the last few years with a plunge into the digital universe, relying on the four pillars of innovation, technology, sustainability and industry 4.0.
To this end, it has been fundamental to introduce a computer infrastructure of the latest generation, reinforcing all of the company’s departments and permitting the transformation of orders into data that are processed by every single machine of the production line, precisely traced through the entire manufacturing cycle. The result? Every single product is made at the moment of the order, shifting beyond the concept of ‘made to measure.’

The positive impact can be seen in the numbers: sales for 2018 have topped 14 million euros, with an export quota of 20%, while reaching a level of 100 employees. But Caccaro is still not satisfied. For 2019 the company aims to advance further, reaching 15.5 million in sales.
Another step forward for the firm is the opening of a new flagship store in Milan: “During 2019 the space will become a container of meanings and events, a reference point for architects and consumers who are coming into contact with the world of Caccaro for the first time. The decision to open our first flagship store is part of a wider-ranging strategy that embraces a new approach to the distribution network,” says Pierlugi Caccaro, President of Caccaro.

The flagship store also contains Freedhome, the new big storage system created by Caccaro that offers a range of customization options thanks to its 45 different modules, in which built-in lighting plays a leading role. The finishes are in wood, from eucalyptus to oak, by way of continuous-grain walnut, with an eye on ecosustainability thanks to the use of particular water-base coatings for domestic settings.
President Caccaro talks about the advent of the project: “Freedhome is an expression of freedom, clearly conveyed by the name of our new big storage system. This freedom and the resulting communication concept that will continue for a few years come from sizeable investment in production processes, which have enabled us to develop the Freedhome system and to constantly work in extending the concept of custom-made.”
