The prize ceremony was held at the Belmond Hotel Cipriani in Venice, and hosted by Elena Donazzan, Councilor for Education, Training and Labor of the Veneto Region. The survey of financial results for the fiscal year of 2017 showed that Nardi was the leader in income among Italian producers of outdoor furnishings.

The award comes one month after the Salone del Mobile.Milano, where Nardi presented the Trill collection composed of chairs with or without armrests, and a stool in fiberglass resin with a sculptural look, emphasized by essential lines. The range of matte colors offers a choice of white, dove gray, anthracite, mustard, tobacco, agave and teal. In the indoor version Trill is enhanced by a slim cushion attached to the seat.
