New developments at Ceramiche Piemme

Ceramiche Piemme Contract sees the light, a division created to support designers in their selection of finishes for public and private spaces

Ceramiche Piemme kicks off 2019 with an important new development. The company, specialised in the production of ceramic flooring and cladding, launches Ceramiche Piemme Contract: a division created to facilitate the chain of production and supply between client and company.

“Today being competitive means knowing how to interpret the public’s needs, in any sector,” states Davide Colli COO of Ceramiche Piemme who goes on to say: “These days it is no longer enough to be technologically avant garde and to skilfully renew the vision of your range of products. Rather, what’s crucial is to provide every kind of client with attentive and tailored service. Hence the importance of creating a space in which professionals can find technical and stylistic solutions for their projects.”

The new brand has already set to work. On occasion of Coverings 2019 (Orlando, 9-12 April), Ceramiche Piemme Contract will present two new products: the porcelain stoneware tiles of the Ageless and Venetian Marble collections.

The first is inspired by industrial resin-cement and is characterised by striations created during the laying of the mortar. Ageless focuses not only aesthetics, but on strength, having been conceived for residential and commercial environments as well as for public areas. The two existing formats (30X60cm, 60X60cm) are joined by a 3D textured structure (60x60x0,95 cm) in the shades of Baltic, Britain, and Sahara.

Meanwhile, Venetian Marble is named for and inspired by the aesthetics of a Venetian terrace. The effect is that of fine granulated marble of varying colours and iridescence, bonded by cement paste. There are four colours to choose from: Rainbow, Cloud, Fog, and Storm, available in two formats (60X120cm and 60X60cm).
