Play of Water

The group celebrates Zucchetti’s 90th anniversary and participates in ISH with the Nikko single-lever faucet, the Aloe bathtub, and the Silkstone Tray shower bases, on display in a stand designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba

2019 is a year of celebration for Zucchetti.Kos. The Gozzano-based group celebrates Zucchetti’s 90th anniversary: almost a century of achievements and continuous research focused always on improving the quality of its products. ISH is an important context in which to celebrate the past and launch the present by introducing the future.

Zucchetti.Kos animates the ISH trade show in Frankfurt with its bathroom experience: a range of increasingly articulated products, capable of responding to the demands of a constantly evolving market which includes the domestic, large-scale contract, and hospitality sectors.
A world that is portrayed in the new WaterWords.19 catalogue, an editorial project that has expressed the company’s vision for many years.

Zucchetti’s new products are represented by the Nikko single-lever faucet, while Kos enhances its range with the Aloe bathtub and the Silkstone Tray shower base.
Nikko’s primary characteristics are a dynamic design, created by an arrangement of concentric curves, and compact and linear dimensions that do not lose sight of practicality.

Kos presents Aloe, a free-standing bathtub characterised by a minimalist design. The name is inspired by the plant and its natural qualities, used for beauty and hygiene for thousands of years. In fact, the Aloe bathtub is intended as a tool for wellness and relaxation for those who use it.

What is remarkable about the Silkstone shower bases is their versatility. With over 25 different shapes and sizes available, the new bases are able to perfectly meet the requirements of the most varied kinds of spaces: from standard and angular models, to extra long ones for walk-in showers.

To make an impact at ISH, Zucchetti.Kos entrusted the design of its stand to the Ludovica+Roberto Palomba studio, which created a space that plays with the natural colours of grey stone. The expository concept was conceived to highlight the group’s bathroom and outdoor solutions without the addition of pleonastic elements.
The studio created the WaterCandy installation, with jets of differing capacity which establish a lively play of water and allow visitors to test the quality of the company’s products.
