Richard Ginori, homage 2.0

To celebrate the launch of its new collections, the Florentine maison pays homage to Gio Ponti with a visual and multi-media experience

Wandering through the streets of Paris and, in particular, Maison&Objet, it’s easy to encounter homages to design and to its greatest protagonists.
Richard Ginori

To celebrate the exposition Tutto Ponti, Gio Ponti archi-designer, on exhibit until 5 May 2019 at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and of which it is also the official sponsor, is the proposal within Le Hall des Maréchaux of the Parisian museum of Gio Ponti magnified. Richard Ginori’s decorations as never seen before, an original and brand new 2.0 installation.

The journey through the exhibition starts at the ground floor where the visitor comes into contact with the Gio Ponti universe. Richard Ginori gives life to the iconic designs created by the Master thanks to innovative video mapping on the walls and ceilings of the space.
It is an immersive voyage with the unmistakeable illusionistic effect of the Prospettica decoration, with the magical elements of the Witch’s Hand, to the figures that characterise the decoration of the Archaeological Stroll, to the women resting on clouds that decorate the Women on Clouds Vase and Architecture, to the lively Déco of the feminine forms on My Women.
