Happy Birthday Déco Off!

The Parisian trade show for textile and interior design professionals celebrates its 10th year, stimulating imagination and participation in this edition through a rich selection of products, installations, and more

An exceptional edition of Paris Dèco Off is preparing to animate the two banks of the River Seine. In fact, this year marks the 10th anniversary of the trade show, an exclusive event full of surprises and kaleidoscopic innovations.

The Parisian “rendez-vous”, which brings international interior designers and decoration and textile publishers to the Rive Gauche and Rive Droite (from 17 to 21 January), will once again be flaunting its distinctive feature: colour colour colour, everywhere and in every shade, as well as many fabrics and trends that will go on to characterise decorative textiles, wallpaper, and rugs, a preview of which is provided by the 119 design houses which will be participating in the event.

The 10th edition also brings with it entirely new products, riding the wave of a renewed and vivacious spirit of initiative: to marvel, admire, imagine, learn, and celebrate are some of the ‘commandments’ that this acclamatory edition intends to subject visitors to so that they may fully appreciate every aspect that Paris Dèco Off has to offer.

One must, therefore, marvel at the over 200 suspended lighting fixtures that shine along the trade show route – including those upholstered in linen by the Masters of Linen – and at the illumination from the latest collections by partner brands on the monumental design products created specifically for the event.
And we can’t help but be inspired by the creative compositions of the more than 90 showrooms which line the two banks, between the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th  arrondissements, and admire the various displays as we seek number ‘10’ with a clear iconic reference, finally discovering which will be the winner of the competition dedicated to them.

Meanwhile, students of art and design are called upon to imagine as they participate in a contest that focuses on the theme “Draw me a fabric or wallpaper”, the winner of which will be awarded at the Hotel Drouot; while all attendees are invited to learn thanks to a rich panel of lectures conducted by authors, journalists, bloggers, trend hunters, and decorators who will discuss the history of textiles in decoration.
Finally, and most importantly, we are asked to celebrate: from the gala evening that Dèco Off organises each year to the individual events held in the showrooms. Raise your glasses high to toast this 10th anniversary!

The Sirpi collection is enhanced by the Altagamma Kilt collection of clear Nordic inspiration, which draws inspiration from the graphics of Scottish kilt patterns. The pastel-colored tartans mix with the faux monochrome, earthy colors with textile textures, graphics with geometric and decorative elements, or pinstripes and grey stripes on a light background.
