Relax total white

At Masseria Le Torri in Polignano a Mare, a respect for traditional structure, characteristic details, and natural shapes blend with the comfortable minimalism of Talenti’s outdoor furniture

Bright white and dazzling, because covered in lime, the imposing walls and small towers of Masseria Le Torri rise proudly from among the surrounding olive trees and prickly pear cactuses. After a meticulous restoration, which took into account the unique characteristics of the location and local construction techniques, the old fortified farm once again unveils its 17th century splendour, restoring the rural spirit of its quicklime walls, between which time seems to have stood still.

The functional and rational quality of the rooms’ composition remains, as does, in the modulation of the internal and external spaces, the structure’s harmony with the surrounding landscape. Within, the combination of natural wood and the characteristic limestone of Apulia prevail, joined by frescoes and, in the bedrooms, translucent and lightweight fabrics, unique lighting fixtures, and delicate bedding as attributes of an ethereal beauty that inspires rest and relaxation.

Externally, the structure is enhanced by a splendid swimming pool surrounded by dry-stone walls and sprawling grassy areas. Talenti’s outdoor furniture – present around the pool, in the central patio, and on the rooms’ private terraces – create sophisticated settings in consistently milky shades, yet modern, with simple lines and innovative materials.

Along the sides of the pool, chairs, deck chairs, and small tables from the Touch collection are arranged parallel to one another beneath the shade of the Apollo umbrellas, with their aluminium structures painted the same tone of white as the textilene upholstery. The rigid and geometric nature of the pieces from the Cleo//Alu collection, designed by Marco Acerbis, fit with the patio arrangement, accompanying the lunch tables from the Maiorca collection, which appear together with the Milo Textilene chair on the private terraces as well.
