It will be a year to remember for Poliform. The three founders Alberto Spinelli, Aldo Spinelli and Giovanni Anzani were awarded the title of ‘Entrepreneurs of the Year’ for the Globalization category. The ceremony – now in its twenty-second edition – took place in the fascinating setting of Palazzo Mezzanotte.
The jury’s motivation for the awarding of the prize was “for the foresight, dynamism and determination with which they have been able to develop their own brand, an international leader in the furnishings market, flagbearer of Italian design in the world”.
Established in 1986 in America, the Ernst & Young Award is now given in over 40 countries, with the aim of recognising the merit of entrepreneurs who have distinguished themselves in the leadership of their company and in the economic and social development of the nations they belong to, creating value with innovative spirit and strategic vision.
The important recognition follows that of June, on the occasion of the Compasso d’oro, the historic design award established from an idea by Gio Ponti. On that occasion, the three founders won an award for their career.
