On 27 and 28 November in Hong Kong, taking the stage is the event dedicated to the international real estate market: more than 900 property leaders are expected. The 2018 theme is: ‘Invest in a better tomorrow’

From France to Hong Kong. On 27 and 28 November Mipim Asia Summit takes place, the event dedicated to the international real estate market. The numbers already forecast a major success: the participation of over 900 property leaders from the entire continent is expected, who will be presenting projects and discussing the theme chosen by the organisers for the 2018 edition, ‘Invest in a better tomorrow’.

The participants in the event are invited to imagine how the new generations will live and work in 2030. Additionally, professionals of the sector will hold conferences on hot topics of the day such as intelligent cities, sustainability and the boom of proptech, that is, the digital transformation of the real estate world.

The organisation of Mipim Asia is entrusted to Reed Midem, already the promoter of the twin events Mipim UK (17-18 October) and Mipim PropTech NYC (6 November) and of the original event that took place in Cannes in march: “We are enthused about concluding an incredible year, under the sign of innovation, with the celebration of Asia, which is in fact the world’s most dynamic continent,” states the director of Mipim, Ronan Vaspart, who then continues: “The continent of the Far East is where the ‘fastest’ cities of the world are found and it will be in constant evolution at least until 2030. For this reason we have asked experts to imagine what the world in which people live and work will be like in ten years’ time.”

Without forgetting the Mipim Design Awards that will be given at the Grand Hyatt of Hong Kong: the protagonists of which are thirty projects divided into ten categories selected by 19 judges from the 122 proposals submitted.
