Hans J Wegner

Hans J. Wegner, known as the ‘master of seating’, had an experimental approach, not only when it came to shapes and materials, but also colours. So to celebrate this important milestone Carl Hansen & Son has chosen to emphasise the numerous opportunities for change provided by the Wishbone Chair, presenting this iconic 1950s piece in eight new, nature-inspired colours.

This limited edition grounds itself in nature, inspired by forests, beaches, and woods, resulting in sophisticated, deep, and soft shades of colour. The earthy tones of Rosy Blush, Russet Red, and Deep Burgundy contrast with classic Navy Blue. Meanwhile, tranquil colours like Oyster Grey, Forest Green, Midnight Blue, and Deep Olive evoke a sense of connection with the nature that surrounds us and help to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
