Attention to details

From Cologne to Paris, from Dubai to Shanghai: Baxter’s 2018 calendar of events is bursting. Among the products present in the Chinese metropolis stand out Tactile and Budapest Soft

The third edition of the Salone del Mobile. Milano Shanghai is a success, proven by the over 100 Italian exhibitors who have decided to animate the Shanghai Exhibition Center with their products. Among these, Baxter, which is experiencing a 2018 rich in appointments and events, starting from the first trade fairs of the year in Cologne and Paris until arriving at Dubai and Shanghai, without forgetting the Milanese event in April.

At this time, China represents the world capital of design. The exposition concept of Baxter recreates complete and enveloping environments – living zones, bedrooms, studios – each one with a diversified colour palette and a variety of materials.
Among the products of the Italian brand present at the exposition, the sofas Tactile and Budpest Soft leave their mark. They perfectly represent the philosophy of the company: decisive character, quality materials and maximum attention to details.

Tactile, designed by Vincenzo De Cotiis, is characterised by soft and enveloping forms. As is already evident by the name, it seeks to exalt the tactile property of the leather. The sofa is deconstructed and articulated in its elementary parts: backrest and seat don’t depend on each other, merely grazing one another just for the necessary stability.

Budapest Soft instead, was born from the idea of Paola Navone. The version present in China is in Kashmir Azure Leather. An elegant colour that exalts both the lines and the curves of the padding, making the sofa a protagonist in the living zone.
