Vibieffe is coming to Crocus Expo for Salone del Mobile.Milano Moscow. And the brand will be bringing some of its best-loved living solutions, including the 650 Nido and 235 XSmall sofas, the Hi_Story armchair and accessory pieces from E_Spirit, the collection unveiled to mark the brand’s 50th anniversary. It’s a timely reminder that Vibieffe has been designing and producing sophisticated sofas, armchairs, sofa beds, beds, accessories and lighting for a whopping five decades.
Sofa Nido, Vibieffe
The 650 Nido sofa is available in various different dimensions, with completely removable covers in cotton, linen or leather. Customers can also choose a personalised cover. The sofa features a structure made from solid fir and plywood.
235 Xsmall offers a raft of customisation options. Individual elements of various different dimensions can be mixed and matched with corner and end pieces, which can be selected without cushions or armrests. The contrast stitching around the cushions and padding accentuates the bold lines of the sofa, which serves as a fine example of quality craftsmanship.
Sofa HI_Story, Vibieffe
The classic HI_Story armchair features a slanting shape, underlined by the profile of the structure, which is made from solid fir with inserts in composite wood and poplar plywood. The suspension system supporting the seat pad is made from extra-strong unidirectional elastic strips.
E_Spirit book, Vibieffe
Yet perhaps the most representative example of Vibieffe’s design ethos is the E_Spirit collection, developed in collaboration with the architect Gianluigi Landoni. The Modern sofa, for example, is a more classic take on the minimal style. E_Spirit Book, meanwhile, showcases all the collection’s best features: classic style, modern influences, attention to detail, combinations of materials and modularity. This versatile bookcase can either be freestanding or mounted to the wall, with multiple assembly options. Last but not least, also deserving of a mention is the Swing table, with its oval white marble top and metal structure.
