Design China Beijing exhibition is inaugurated this year and concurrently the new exclusive edition of the Contract&Hospitality Book China Regional by IFDM makes its debut in the Asian megalopolis. Organized by Media10 -also responsible for the successful Design Shanghai launched 5 years of ago – the exhibition becomes a springboard for the new IFDM project, presented last July in the elegant setting of Hilton Lake Como.
From 20 September, the 6-day event will host exhibitors and visitors from the Asian continent and not only: the list of international names includes brands such as Kartell, Axor, Interface, Bolon, just to name a few.
As a media partner, IFDM will take pride of place at the event with the Regional China spin-off of the Contract&Hospitality Book collection, conceived for the Chinese market and written in the national language.

IFDM will also take part in the panel of the Design Forum, the program of talks and conferences on the theme “Inspiration, Nature, Craft and Technology”, aimed at the media, design influencers, buyers and industry leaders who can find inspiration, be involved in discussions and in-depth analysis. The appointment with Paolo Bleve, founder and publisher of the magazine, and Johannes Neubacher, Editor-in-Chief of the Book China Regional, is on September 23rd (2.15 pm).
The talk with those behind this new editorial venture will bring the attention to one of the Book’s key themes: 2019 color trends preview. A recurring theme that accompanies each issue of the biannual Contract&Hospitality Book thanks to an exclusive collaboration with ColorWorks® (Clariant’s business unit), which selects the 20 trendy colors for the following year, assembled in ‘Stories’, as the representatives of ColorWorks® define them.
Therefore the presence of Norzihan Aziz, Head of ColorWorks Design Centre of Singapore who will be a special guest at the conference to unveil the chromatic Stories characterizing 2019.
