Sweet dreams at the Elizabeth Unique Hotel

Dorelan has designed the 33 rooms of the hotel in Rome, where guests will sleep on Iris mattresses and take their pick from the Pillow Menu

The importance of good sleep cannot be underestimated. It’s something that the Elizabeth Unique Hotel is well aware of – and it’s why the hotel has decided to adopt a unique system for guests of the 33-room facility. Dorelan was the partner chosen to ensure the quality of sleep of the guests, who will lie on Iris mattresses, surrounded by furniture and accessories designed by the bedroom specialist and – most important of all – be able to choose from five options on the Pillow Menu: Good600, Gwen500 and Gwen900 in polyester microfibre and Shadow and Sense in MyformAir.

“At the Elizabeth, luxury is not just about appearance,” says CIO (Chief Inspiring Officer) and Director Giuseppe Falconieri. “It’s about being understood, finding fulfilment in the little things and seeing that your stay has been customised right down to the tiniest detail.”

Emiliano Izzi, Contract Manager of DorelanHotel since March 2018, explains the philosophy of the brand, which was founded in 1968: “Quality of sleep is increasingly at the top of the wish list of modern travellers, regardless of whether they’re away on business or pleasure. A regenerative sleep that boosts your wellbeing, combined with the knowledge that you are going to feel comfortable despite being away from your own bed, are the advantages that can really make the difference to a guest’s experience.”

Having opened its doors this summer, the Elizabeth Unique Hotel is located in the historic centre of Rome in the stunning Palazzo Pulieri Ginetti, between Via del Corso and Via della Frezza. The Roman hotel is an environmentally friendly facility and has been awarded No Plastic Hotel status, while it’s also an official member of the exclusive global Design Hotels community of hotels which share the same ethos across design, architecture and experience. The interior design project, furniture and lighting is the work of the architect Antonio Marincola, from Studio Marincola in Rome.
The 33 rooms (standard, deluxe, junior suite and suite) reflect the innate elegance and well-finished feel of a prestigious home.
