Eco-sustainability is the AQuest mantra

The creative digital agency has moved house to a new, eco-friendly facility based around the principles of liveability, design and sharing

AQuest has changed house for a fresh start. The creative digital agency has moved house to an eco-friendly facility in San Giovanni Lupatato, in the province of Verona. “We chose this facility as Aquest’s new home because we felt a need to find a space that was more representative of us,” explained CEO and creative director Fabio Merlin. “We needed somewhere that we could feel completely at ease and would facilitate our approach to work.”

Air-conditioning and the pursuit of improved energy efficiency were at the heart of the ambitious project, which takes its cue from AQuest’s green philosophy. The company opted for a controlled mechanical ventilation system which ensures air recirculation without heat loss, while the stone walls were replaced with glass to make the most of natural light. Technology plays an important role too – the company has launched an app that allows it to turn lights off and on remotely, thus keeping energy waste to a minimum.

Accommodating 70 workers every day, the facility – starting from the reception area – is kitted out with minimalist design pieces from brands like Kartell and Lago, while vintage furniture also makes an appearance. There are a number of different areas for staff and guests to enjoy in the building, including brainstorming rooms, lots of green space (including an outside courtyard and a vertical wall garden), a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of coffee areas.

However, the star of the show in this multi-functional facility is the central staircase, which creates a stunning hall area where co-workers can exchange ideas and broaden their knowledge. AQuest’s new home has also been designed to host meetings and events open to the public, with a number of larger spaces available.
