It is called Myne and is the winner of the Best of NeoCon 2018 award in the “Tables – Training & Work” category. The new series of tables by the American company Nucraft boasts the design signature of the Milan-based Metrica studio, a known name to this valuable award promoted annually by NeoCon, at The Mart. Last year, in fact, was the turn of the Boccaporto freestanding chair, designed by Metrica for the Turkish company Koleksiyon, which received the Gold Award.

For this edition, among the 374 competing products subdivided in 41 categories, the jury – composed of 42 contract interior designers, architects and management executives of companies and institutions – selected Myne and its exclusive design philosophy: formal simplicity combined with a dynamic functionality.
Myne represents a new class of training tables, light, essential, flexible, ideal to support training activities and facilitate dynamic ways of working in many contexts. The aesthetic lightness of the thin profile is combined with a material approach of great solidity and durability. The base is in fact made of aluminium, while the tops are available in different finishes.

The collection includes mobile meeting tables and reconfigurable tables with a flip top, power supply and USB ports. But a distinction between the models (Myne Out or Myne In) primarily concerns the base, characterized, respectively, by the legs outset from the edges or inset from them. In the first case, the tables allow free configurations, ideal for creative spaces; alternatively, the tops of Myne In can be combined to create arrangements that favor meetings, training and other collaborative applications.

Noteworthy is also the assignment of the Best of NeoCon Silver Award to the Duende tables collection, designed by Metrica for the American-based company Tuohy, in the “Conference Room Furniture” category.
