Pure energy

A lively atmosphere that pervades the five districts of the city, culminating in design hubs where you can talk, touch and admire design in all its nuances. This and much more is the sixth edition of NYCxDesign

The boundless energy of the city animates the biggest event dedicated to design in America. Is already that time of the year again and the appointment, unmissable for professionals and design lovers, with NYCxDesign – from 11 to 23 May – reaches its sixth edition. A recent history, accompanied by an excellent qualitative dimension. The event has already left its mark on the international trade scene thanks to its peculiar combination of exhibitions focused on cultural and business offerings, boasting the presence of high level brands and institutions, thanks to its overwhelming dynamism. There are hundreds of events that animate the five districts of the city (from Manhattan to Brooklyn, including the Queens, Staten Island, and the Bronx) to celebrate design side by side: culture, education, entertainment are the various areas ofinterest reflected in exhibitions, installations, trade shows, open studio talks and much more.

The events to put on the agenda are countless: starting from ICFF, an exhibition event that takes place from 20-23 May at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary; the bustling event of WantedDesign in its dual soul – Manhattan and Brooklyn – and again, the third edition of the NYCxDesign Awards (Monday, May 21st); a stop at the Design Pavilion in Times Square, which this year is inspired by the theme “From This Day Forward”, then at the American Design Club at 63 Flushing Avenue in Brooklyn; ending with a tour of the Design Districts (SoHo Design District, Tribeca Design District, NoMad Design District and East Midtown Partnership) to the brand new area of Seaport where past and present meet in a renewed location dedicated to art and design.
