One of the numerous proposals at the Salone include the rediscovery of one of Gio Ponti’s most emblematic works, the centrepiece Trionfo for Italian embassies, an exclusive white porcelain composition of objects with golden details designed in the latter half of the 1920s in collaboration with Tomaso Buzzi, modelled by Italo Griselli and built by Manifattura Richard Ginori.

An exclusive centrepiece commissioned by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, destined to adorn tables at the most important embassies, featuring Doccia porcelain, conceived by Gio Ponti, re-edited for the first time, with the recovery of original shapes, moulds and designs from the company’s historic archive. A meticulous presentation and contemporary reinterpretation of the neoclassic centrepiece, featuring the personification of a towered Italy seated on a shell throne.
But there is more from Richard Ginori: the Labirinto collection is also on display, featuring tableware and giftware proposals and presented in a new amethyst tonality with golden trimming. Totem draws inspiration from nature and features new personalisable objects. Magnifico features four large gold or platinum decorated plates. Babele is available in 4 different shapes, and the new collection Giardino dell’Iris feature entirely hand painted decorations using a technique inspired by engraved and water colour painted plates by the German naturalist and painter Maria Siblla Merian.
