Dual soul, unique identity for Bellotti Ezio

Yet again this year Bellotti Ezio will present itself at Salone del Mobile in two exhibition spaces, as an expression of its dual stylistic essence: classic, with proposals by Belotti Ezio, and contemporary, with Bel Mondo

Two brands, two different souls, one single and strong identity. Bellotti Ezio, characterised by exclusive processes, details and finishings, which only skilled artisanship, grounded in refined Italian cabinetmaking, could produce.

At the helm of the company, Donatella Bellotti explains: “At Salone del Mobile we are presenting our new collections, in particular Gea, a totally new line by Bel Mondo, our contemporary furnishing brand. The collection combines inspiration from the Nordic tradition with all our cabinetmaking experience and includes a new series of furnishings featuring sinuous and soft lines. A design characterised by the sculptural essence of wood, an invitation to feel ergonomy, in terms of touch as well as vision. New lines born under the artistic direction of the architect Giovanni Luca Ferreri, in continuation of a stylistic path previously embraced by the company during the period spanning the 60s through to the 90s”.

A collection which exudes its sheer essence at the exhibition stand, in living, dining, conversation and bedroom interiors, with pieces of ultra-refined design made from fine materials: ziricote for cupboards, black walnut for the bedroom and armchairs, not to mention white ebony. There is no shortage of marble, which is used to embellish various elements, or brass elements for legs, handles and knobs, specially designed and handmade.

What about the other soul? Donatella Bellotti explains: “The classic stand represents our company’s essence and has undergone a make-over since last year. Starting with the carved living room, featuring a brand new and highly original lacquered finishing that is matched with excellent quality fabrics, specifically designed to satisfy the taste of fresh, increasingly on-the-pulse products, elegant while eschewing excessive decorative richness”.

There is also a brand new dining area featuring a hall complete with showcases, table, dresser and TV unit. Highly original in terms of form and essence, characterised by the use of chestnut root, glass and marquetry, with everything embellished by an elegant touch of mother of pearl. An exquisitely hand-carved Louis XVI style bed reigns supreme in the new bedroom, complete with a solid wood dresser, bedside cabinets and dressing table, with fine white erable marquetry on the bottom. Interiors are completed by single pieces of excellent cabinetmaking, including a Stipo cabinet, a faithful reproduction of an original dating back to the Grand Duchy of Tuscany.
