B&B Italia design paths

For the FuoriSalone circuit at Milan Design Week in April, with #walksofdesign, B&B Italia flags its presence in two locations, with a series of events tracing an articulated path. From the city centre to the Palazzo Lombardia skyscraper

B&B Italia will be present at Fuorisalone in two locations and at five collateral events. Firstly, at the B&B Italia Store, via Durini 14 which will open to the public with living interior proposals by Antonio Citterio, Naoto Fukasawa, Piero Lissoni and, for the first time, Michael Anastassiades. The unreleased Maxalto collections will also be on display, coordinated by Antonio Citterio. Also in via Durini, Arclinea – a B&B Italia brand – will  inaugurate the new Flagship Store and all the latest from the collection designed by Antonio Citterio. Chiostri dell’Umanitaria, Via San Barnaba 48 is set to be another important B&B Italia location, where a scenographic set will showcase the new Outdoor Collection, featuring original furnishings designed by Nipa Doshi, Jonathan Levien and Naoto Fukasawa, as well as all other catalogue Outdoor proposals.

In Corso Venezia 51, B&B Italia will participate in the installation “Onlife. Millenials at Home” with two products, and at the Anteo Palazzo del Cinema, Via XXV Aprile 8, in the exhibition “68. Oggetti e progetti per un nuovo mondo”, featuring 25 products designed and produced between 1965 and 1975, including two by B&B: the sofa Bibambola, by Mario Bellini, and Serie Up chairs, by Gaetano Pesce.

At the Vogue Italia newsroom in piazzale Cadorna 5, as part of the exhibition “Life in Vogue – A Reflection On The Way Of Living The Contemporary Office”, B&B Italia and Maxalto have created the ideal office, designed by Antonio Citterio. A short distance from here, at the Triennale Design Museum, via Alemagna 6, the brand will be present with some of its most iconic and historic projects, at the exhibition “Storie. Il design italiano. La storia e le storie del design italiano”.

Lastly, the famous armchair Bambola, designed by Mario Bellini in 1972 and winner of the  1979 Compasso d’Oro, will be one of the pieces to feature at the exhibition “Design Answers”, on the 29th floor of Belvedere, Palazzo Lombardia, in Piazza Città di Lombardia.
