Very Filla, Very Wood

Michele De Lucchi has designed his very first chair for Very Wood, a light and technological product, the culmination of an idea transformed into a project along with an abundance of engineering

Repetitiveness in furnishing (especially seating) is a risk we encounter on a daily basis, but Filla has carved out its very own niche, it is brimming with character and special characteristics – more than enough to stand out and be remembered.

A chair for the contract world, as highlighted by the company’s CEO, Segio Bertossi. A refined yet industrial chair, destined to be manufactured (and sold) on a large scale.

One of the strong points of Very Wood is this ability to blend requests from the contract world with designer creativity.

As explained by Matteo Ragni, Art Director at Very Wood, with Filla Michele De Lucchi confirms his natural calling for designs featuring wood, as well as a boundless creative flair and ability to conceive and then represent his own thought through a project. Filla is the translation of a journey through the imagination, where the double back (an absolute novelty which catches the eye and rouses curiosity), represents two leaves leaning against a system of sinuous “branches” which become legs. A chair which does not go unnoticed and can be personalised using a rich collection of colour palettes.
