Paola Lenti in mostra a New York

“Farniente”, l’amaca disegnata da Bestetti Associati per Paola Lenti, è stata selezionata dal Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum di New York per la mostra The Virtue in Vice, aperta fino al 25 marzo

Può essere sospesa tra due alberi, tra due pareti o a un’apposita struttura portante in acciaio inox verniciato: Farniente, l’amaca in tessuto realizzata da Paola Lenti su design di Bestetti Associati, rientra a pieno titolo fra quegli oggetti realizzati in materiali lussuosi e raffinati, caratterizzati dall’unicità della lavorazione artigianale, attraverso i quali la mostra The Virtue in Vice, aperta fino al 25 marzo presso il Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum di New York, ha voluto avvicinare il grande pubblico al mondo del design.
Come? Con un’installazione che ha voluto esaminare i sette peccati capitali attraverso “oggetti che nel corso della storia hanno reso piacevole l’indulgenza per il lusso e l’invidia del bello, trasformando il vizio in virtù”.

Farniente è realizzata in Trame, un tessuto a rete sviluppato e prodotto in esclusiva da Paola Lenti, con una struttura tessile che permette all’amaca di estendersi e modellarsi senza mai perdere l’intrinseca solidità.
