Bonaldo & Colonia. A question of affinity

An ideal platform for reconfirming and consolidating the company's presence on the German and Central European market, on a trajectory of constant growth. 2018 gets off to a start for Bonaldo, at Imm Cologne

2018 proposals by Bonaldo on display in Cologne exude strongly distinctive features of the brand: colour, harmony of shapes and lines, functionality and comfort.

Its new chairs reign supreme, all available in fabric, leather or faux leather versions. First up we have Lias, the upholstered chair designed by Gino Carollo, whose name alludes to the characteristic layers which define its design. The chair features edging running along the entire silhouette of its seat and back, with two edges defining its contours.

Mauro Lipparini has played with geometry to design Heron, a surprisingly light chair created by the geometry of its seat and back, further enhanced by its legs made from thin metal wires which curve at the point in which they come into contact with the floor.

Bahia is also designed by Lipparini, characterised by light graphic signs and a balanced form, perfect for residential and contract interiors.

Origami Octagonal is another product on display, in a new version featuring an octagonal table top, designed by Gino Carollo.

Cologne is only the beginning. Foreign markets are playing an increasingly important role for Bonaldo, exceeding 70% of total turnover generated in 2017: from the Far East to the United States, Australia, New Zealand, South America, Africa and the Middle East. Furthermore, over the last two years both retail and contract channels have undergone significant developments, particularly within the European hotel sector.
