Cristalplant and Falper for the new Design Contest

To create a bathroom product which not only becomes an icon, but also the emblem of a certain life style and way of being. This is the objective of the Cristalplant® Design Contest, involving Cristalplant®, the company Falper and young, creative professionals

Cristalplant®, eschews concise definition: the soft-touch, ductile, refined, innovative, inert, hypo-allergenic and non-toxic material features infinite qualities and characteristics. It also contains a high percentage of natural mineral load (ATH derived from bauxite) and a low percentage of high purity polymers, polyesters and acrylics. It has the ability to adapt to any form: fluid, organic, planar, circular or staggered and angular.
The Cristalplant® Design Contest, now approaching its tenth edition, is promoted by Cristalplant® in collaboration with Falper and was created with the aim of promoting creative interpretation of this material. Young creative professionals born after 01/01/1983 are invited to develop innovative ICONS projects, using Cristalplant® and drawing inspiration from Falper's elegant, sartorial and technological style. Project entries must be developed according to one of the following three categories: vanity tops, wall-hung and free-standing sinks, wall-hung and vanity handrinse basins, and bath tubs. An array of additional aspects will also be considered during the selection process: durability, prestige, utility, originality, symbolic and metaphorical meaning, elegance and essentiality, adherence to requirements. Winning projects will be selected by a qualified jury elected by promoters. The award ceremony will be held during the Salone del Mobile, Milan, in Via Palermo 11, on Wednesday April 18th 2018.
