Changes the location, but not the cheerful spirit that animates the event. This year the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale exceptionally hosts the second edition of ICFF Miami – running until October 4th – replacing the Miami Beach Convention Center, still under restructuring after the devastating passage of Hurricane Irma.
The organizational system of the show hasn’t stopped one minute and has transferred the exhibition and the collateral schedule of events and talks with industry professionals within a space equally suitable for hosting the counterpart event of the New York exhibition.
Last year, ICFF Miami had to face the unpredictable force of nature, in the shape of Hurricane Matthew, which caused the early closure of the fair. Today, the event reopens, with a renewed vitality and desire to fascinate the awaited international audience, over six thousand architects, interior designers, developers and luxury retailers.
Sharing this bustling atmosphere, more than 150 exhibitors embrace stylistic varieties ranging from classic to contemporary design, and also the interior, decoration and finishing sectors, as well as bathrooms, kitchens and accessories. Fendi Casa, Formitalia Group, Franke, Kartell, Lea North America, Pimar, Villeroy&Boch are just a few of the protagonists. A group that declines perfectly both in residential and contract, commercial and retail; areas to which ICFF Miami addresses and represents in its exhibition universe, also through collective exhibitions that fill the space: from HD Collection in its first appearance (organized in collaboration with Hospitality Design Magazine and HD Expo), the must-attend Luxe Pavilion, the exclusive Luxury Yacht & Cruise Ship Design Pavilion.
Adding to the themes of the event, the Tesla Design Showcase where the automotive brand presents the latest models, ICFF Gallery: Confluence of Art and Design, a space used by ICFF New York for artists and artwork that can become part or inspiration for interior design projects; and furthermore, Manufactura Propia, a show that brings together renowned and emerging talents from Cuba.
