From IFDM to Brera Academy of Fine Arts: young talents in action

A conversation with Paolo Bleve. IFDM director, and Andrea Del Guercio, curator of the exhibition “A decade of evolution in design”, to discover the backgrounds of the event that celebrated the 10th anniversary of the magazine and inaugurated the exhibit at Fondazione Stelline

An abstract and symbolic fil rouge connects the editorial world of IFDM to the artistic project “A decade of evolution in design”.  The exhibition doesn’t intend to represent and celebrate just the magazine, its history and its growth over ten years. It is a bond among its protagonists, young talented people who look out onto the professional world with ambition and aspirations and a pinch of genuine boldness.

With these premises Paolo Bleve, IFDM founder and director, has offered to the Brera artists an exceptional stage, creating a context in collaboration with the same Academy, whose result has been expressed in 19 works and 11 paintings showcased at the Fondazione Stelline in Milan. An occasion that melted two different sectors – design and art  – and different protagonists –  furniture companies and young talents – for a prolific contamination in favor of the pure creativity.

The director Paolo Bleve and the Professor of Contemporary Art History Andrea Del Guercio recounts the experience in an exclusive interview that retraces the stages of the whole project.
