ICFF, the best of international design in New York

A key annual event for the furniture industry will be held from 21 to 24 May, evidencing the US’ position as the world’s largest importer

With the specific aim of bringing together professionals in the high-end interior design sector and influencers, this year the packed Jacob K. Javits Center will host 800 exhibitors from over 30 countries. The event will feature a number of different categories: furniture, lighting, fabrics, coverings, accessories, kitchen and bathroom. It will be attended by 35,000 professionals, including architects, interior designers, real estate companies, distributors and producers.

There will also be many collective participations, including Interiors of Spain, Sindomoveis Brazil, Portugal Brands, Luxe France, Romania, Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Inside Norway, GEM French Export Group, Design Philippines, Ceramics of Italy and the British European Design Group. For Italy, the fifth largest furniture supplier to the USA and leading supplier of high-end furniture, ICE, in collaboration with CNA and Confartigianato,

is organising the Italian Luxury Interiors collective. Numerous Italian design furniture brands are also featured at the collective Soho Design District stand. The event is also an opportunity to reward outstanding design and to discover new talents. ICFF Studio, a partnership between ICFF and Bernhardt Design, is a talent-scouting platform for designers and companies, while the NYCxDESIGN Awards honor architects and designers in 50 product and interior design categories, strengthening the link between ICFF and the event program that lends its name to the award and enlivens New York’s five boroughs from 3 to 24 May 2017.
