Shanghai has never been so lively; yesterday, September 8 started Furniture China, international platform dedicated to design that happens in parallel to the CIFF – China International Furniture Fair and the fledgling Maison Shanghai initiatives. Excellence locations are the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, close to the Shanghai World Exhibition & Convention Centre (SWECC).
Furniture China reaches its 22nd edition, four-day event organized by the China National Furniture Association in partnership with Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo. Asian fundamental meeting point for design professionals, the fair involves both international and local brands for an amount of 3.000 exhibitors, exceeding the last year’s number. Awards, talks and events – Shanghai Home Design Week, Design Dream Show and The Sofa of China among the others – alternate until September 11 within the double venue, where originality is the password.
2016 novelties in the Chinese pole of design is Maison Shanghai. The first edition of the home decoration event covers three halls of the SWECC with proposals of the Fashion, Living + Cosy and Modern Chinese Style + Home Plus Modern Version categories.
