Shanghai is waiting for CIFF

Running from September 7 to 10, the China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) in Shanghai will open its doors for the second year, enlightening the Asian design excellence within the National Exhibition & Convention Centre

It’s already arrived the time for CIFF-Shanghai, that opens the doors of the National Exhibition & Convention Centre in Hongquiao for the second year. From September 7 to 10 Shanghai will become the Capital City for Chinese design. Among the major, Asian commercial platform, the China International Furniture Fair is ready to welcome over 100.000 design professionals – on a surface of 400.000 square meters – through workshop, exhibitions and forums.

Lights on East Design Show: displaying a selection of furniture made by the most influential and respected eastern brands, marked by good design and high quality. Good eastern design exists, and the East Design Show is the perfect opportunity to get to know and rediscover it. Zhu Xiaojie (designer and principal of the Wenzhou Furniture College), Hou Zhengguang (founder of Shanghai Each Corporation and MoreLess Design) and Song Jianming (vice-director of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts) are the organizers of the event. The exhibition platform aims both to focus on famous designer and to support young talents.

Carrying on with the other side initiatives, the Company Workshop and the Academy one, the Indipendent and the Media Workshop, that follow one the other in professional training.

Highlighting also the presence of CIFF Outdoor & Leisure 2016; window for outdoor furnishing systems, and equipment for leisure activities, the Outdoor section will find space within pavilion 5.1 with multiple proposals. 150 (total of 2.000) are the brands that will exhibit their novelties on a 30.000-sqm surface, such as Zhejang Yotrio Group Co., Dongguan Tengyuan Craftwork Co. and Ningbo Activa Leisure Inc
