Gandiablasco looks for new ideas

Gandiablasco accounced the 11th International Furniture Design Contest, that aims to enhance innovative projects of outdoor kitchen. The proposals can be sent through the website of the brand from September, 1 to March, 9

Design promotion is the mission of the International Furniture Design Contest, organized by Gandiablasco, that reached its 11th edition. Year after year, the project’s subject changes, differently from the initiative’s philosophy: for this occasion, each candidate has to propose an innovative, outdoor kitchen’s idea.

Among the contest’s requirements, the works must be industrially reproducible and the use of wood is excluded. Moreover, design have to be original and not be entered in any other competitions or previously published. Starting from September, 1 to March 2017, 9 the parecipants – both students and young professionals aged between 18 and 35 years – can be submitted via the Competition registration platform on the Gandiablasco website (http://gandiablasco.com).

In any event, the brand may offer special recognition to the designers of valued works, entailing the possibily of participating in the industrial exploitation of their designs. Members of the judging panel are also unable to take part; jury that has to evaluate the projects, consisting of professionals from the world of culture, design and furniture industry sector. The winners will be awarded on March 2017 with a first prize of 2.000 euros and the second one of 1.000.
