Italian quality at Tongji University

Tongji University and FederlegnoArredo establish a strategic collaboration in order to propagate the exclusivity of Made in Italy also in Asian territory

The dedication of FederlegnoArredo in educational sector becomes definit in a strategic partnership with the chinese Tongji University. Roberto Snaidero, President of FederlegnoArredo, explains the advantages of the agreement with professor Feng Shouen, Vice President of Tongji University: «On one side, the new generations of Chinese interior designers and architects […] will have more job possibilities, on the other side our businessmen will increase their reputation and will become potential partners».

So, collaboration in the sector of innovative design becomes foundamental, in order to increase the distribuition of Italian culture and creativity. Part of the early appointments in common between the members of the project – coordinated by Giancarlo Tintori, collaborator of FederlegnoArredo and professor at Tongji University – is the partecipation of Chinese professionals at Salone del Mobile of Milan. A delegation of architects and designers directly from East meets the FederlegnoArredo companies during the fair, while young university students take part in the project Salone Satellite.

Moreover, in July will be cycles of conferences and educational workshops which aim to increase knowledges about italian production districts.
