A turning point for Unopiù management

Unopiù has elected a new CEO. Maurizio Motta takes on the new role with great growth forecasts

Maurizio Motta is Unopiù’s new CEO. Milanese, 58 years old, from early February Motta assumed the brand’s leadership, one of the best known in the outdoor industry, after having fulfilled the role of CEO and General Manager of Grancasa Group during the past two years.

«I'm very happy with this new adventure in Unopiù – says the new CEO – It is the leading company for high quality outdoor furniture and I’ve always admired it as a consumer. Its revenue is very large, the brand is extremely strong, solid, and I am sure there’s still room for an incredible growth. It is going to be a fascinating job: being summoned to guide one of the greatest Italian design and furniture brands renowned in the whole world is a matter of enthusiasm and pride.»

An Engineer’s Degree conferred by the Polytechnic University of Milan and a specialization at the Insead of Fontainebleau, his professional career began at Apple and then continued at IBM, in the marketing sector. For 20 years he worked at Mediamarket, as Mediaworld’s CEO, finally entering Grancasa Group.
