Dubai, the new Wonderland

This city is constantly out to amaze: with its skyscrapers, architectural feats and increasingly exclusive districts, it offers a panorama that has no equal. An ever evolving urban scene which also welcomes the world of design.

A bridge between east and west, but also a nexus between luxury and design. The multifaceted personality of Dubai reflects the buzzing atmosphere of culture and trade to be experienced here. An oasis of affluence in the heart of the desert. A young and cosmopolitan city that has become a pole of attraction for the most prestigious fashion and furnishing brands, which have identified this location as the ideal platform for addressing an international public.  Drawing inspiration from the most innovative trends, the desire to create avant-garde models and an open-minded approach to all forms of creativity, the city has created authentic hubs dedicated to all design languages: art, fashion, furnishing and architecture are free to express themselves in districts pervaded by an atmosphere of design, of which the most representative is Downtown Design. In the wake of this philosophy, come the new architectural projects of the Opera District and the D3 – Dubai Design District in which talents and brands, whether local or international, are brought together.  To support these futuristic constructions, a circuit of events confirms the keen propensity to creativity demonstrated by the Middle Eastern public: Downtown Design, Design Days, The Hotel Show, and the most recent Index Dubai (from 18 to 21 May) in which to discover the most interesting interior design proposals for residential, retail and hospitality applications.
